In plain English
Our reading
Boots or shoes made with any imitation leather have to say so, stamped in letters at least an eighth of an inch tall. If the imitation leather is in the sole, insole, heel or counter, the stamp goes on the outside of the sole near the heel. The rule applies to anyone in Michigan who makes, sells or trades such shoes, or holds them to sell.
